1. Washing
Plantains often have soil, dust, and other impurities adhering to their surfaces, so the first step involves processing them using industrial washing equipment.

2. Peeling
Due to variations in shape and size, it is difficult to automate the peeling process for large batches; therefore, peeling is typically performed manually.
3. Slicing
After the plantains are fed into the slicing machine, the slicing method and specifications are adjusted according to product requirements to produce either round or elongated slices.

4. Rinsing and Draining
The purpose of rinsing is to remove surface substances and, if necessary, apply color-retention treatment. Subsequently, draining equipment is used to reduce surface moisture on the banana slices.
5. Continuous Frying
Industrial production typically employs continuous fryers, using a conveyor system to feed plantain slices steadily into the frying zone. The equipment allows for the control of oil temperature and frying time, ensuring the plantain slices achieve a consistent color and texture.

6. De-oiling
Fried chifles chips retain a certain amount of surface oil; mechanical centrifugation or other de-oiling methods are used to reduce this excess surface oil.
7. Packaging
The final product can be packaged in various formats depending on the sales channel, such as small retail bags, family-sized packs, or large-scale commercial packaging.
