Hash browns are a potato product made from fresh potatoes as the main ingredient, processed through multiple steps including washing, cutting, seasoning, shaping, and frying.  Types of Hash Brown

Main Processing Steps in Hash Browns Production Line:

1. Potato washing and peeling
After fresh potatoes enter the hash browns production line, they first undergo washing and peeling. This production line utilizes a combination of water jets and mechanical friction to effectively remove dirt, impurities, and the outer skin from the surface of the potatoes, ensuring clean and hygienic raw materials.
2. Shredding / Chopping

3. Seasoning and Mixing

4. Shaping

5. Frying
Continuous frying equipment allows for precise control of temperature and time, enabling the hash browns to quickly set and form a golden, crispy crust while locking in moisture, ensuring excellent texture and appearance.
6. Quick Freezing (Optional)
For quick-frozen hash brown products, the fried or formed hash browns are transferred to a quick-freezing unit. Rapid cooling allows the product's core temperature to reach the target low temperature in a short time, effectively inhibiting microbial growth, maintaining product freshness and texture, and extending shelf life, facilitating cold chain transportation and storage.
